The Essex-based eCity Couriers is celebrating having scooped a national industry award that recognises its achievements over the past twelve months. The delivery company located in Corringham near Stanford-Le-Hope, won the New Member of the Year category at the Transport Awards 2015, organised by Transport Exchange Group, which showcases the hard work and outstanding success that is taking place within the courier and haulage sectors.
eCity Courier’s Larry Dipeolu was presented with the award by Andrew Ward from Bibby Financial Services at the annual ceremony that took place at St John’s Hotel in Solihull, West Midlands, in front of more than 300 industry leaders and professionals from across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. The company was one of four winners that were nominated and voted for by more than 3,500 members of Courier Exchange and Haulage Exchange in recognition of their major success and best practice in terms of customer service, operational performance and delivery.
Larry Dipeolu from eCity Courier (UK) Limited commented: “We are hugely honoured to have won such a prestigious accolade and would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone at Transport Exchange Group. The Courier Exchange has played such an integral part in the creation and growth of our business, so this award represents a significant milestone in our development. It is the only freight platform that offers a complete solution that can help overcome the challenges we face within the transport sector by connecting like-minded and trustworthy companies.”
Lyall Cresswell, Managing Director of Transport Exchange Group said: “I would like to congratulate eCity Couriers for their success at this year’s Transport Awards.
